This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use Vonaride.com, why we use it and what rights you have. We are the data controller for this data. We follow the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018 and, for customers in Türkiye, the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK).
Data we collect
- Booking details: pickup and drop-off locations, date and time, number of passengers, flight number and any notes you add.
- Contact details: name, email address and phone number of the lead passenger, and of the person booking if different.
- Account details: if you create an account, your name, email, phone number and an encrypted password.
- Payment information: payments are handled by our payment providers (such as Stripe and iyzico). We receive confirmation of the payment and its amount, but not your full card details.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type and, if you accept analytics cookies, how you use our website. See our Politique relative aux cookies.
- Messages: what you send us through contact forms, quote requests, or email.
Why we use it and our legal basis

We do not sell your personal data and we do not send marketing messages without your consent.
Who we share it with
- Transport providers and drivers who carry out your transfer receive the details they need: passenger name, phone number, flight number, pickup and drop-off details and notes.
- Service providers acting on our instructions: payment providers, hosting, email and messaging providers, and mapping services (Google Maps).
- Authorities where we are required to by law.
International transfers
Our servers and some service providers are located outside the United Kingdom, and transport providers are located in the country where your transfer takes place. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on adequacy decisions or appropriate safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- Booking and payment records: 6 years after the journey, for tax and accounting purposes.
- Quote requests that did not lead to a booking: 24 months.
- Accounts: until you close your account, after which booking records are kept as above.
- Analytics data: in line with the retention settings of our analytics provider (maximum 14 months).
Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time. To make a request, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) or, if you are in Türkiye, to the Personal Data Protection Authority (kvkk.gov.tr).
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls and regular backups to protect your data. Passwords are stored in hashed form.
